On Friday 29th of April, the children of Scoil Mhuire celebrated Autism Awareness and Acceptance Day.

Children were delighted to wear their favourite colour on what we called Favourite Colour Friday. Each class went on a Sensory Walk around the school to see what they could see, hear, feel, smell and taste. All classes gathered together in the afternoon and the Cairde classes released blue balloons. There was great excitement and a great day was had by all!
